ExecuJet South Africa ready for the Challenge
ExecuJet South Africa, the African continent's leading business aviation sales and services company, announced today that they are ready to take up the challenge with regards to new South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) regulations that will come into effect in the near future.

With the increased pressure on the SACAA by other international aviation authorities to align themselves with best practices, one of the hot topics is the new CAA policy to allow an aircraft to be listed only on one Aircraft Operating Certificate (AOC). ExecuJet South Africa has supported the move towards the EASA regulations and has long been structured to comply with these standards.

In the past aircraft owners were able to offer their aircraft to several operators in the hope that this would maximise exposure to the air charter market and result in higher revenue for the owner from third party air charter. It is not uncommon for an air charter to be marketed by one company, operated by a second company with maintenance and flight services provided by a third company.

This obviously raised some concerns among the discerning charter client as to who was actually in control of the flight and where the liabilities lay. This move by the CAA is likely to have a huge impact on the local business aviation industry for charter clients and aircraft owners.

ExecuJet offers a turnkey business aviation solution incorporating aircraft and crew management, a full suite of aviation services and aircraft maintenance control. In complying with the EASA standards ExecuJet ensures that crew attend annual simulator training and ensure strict adherence to Crew and Duty Times. Aircraft owners and charter clients benefit from this safety conscious approach.

Mike Clark, Flight Operations Director of ExecuJet South Africa comments "Aircraft owners now have to carefully select one company who will satisfy all their operating requirements. We are happy to say ExecuJet South Africa continues to meet this challenge and we have grown the managed aircraft side of our business by 130% in the last year. Safety still remains our highest priority and is never compromised."

One of the cornerstones of ExecuJet's success from the beginning has been employing the right skills and instilling strict safety discipline. Today the ExecuJet Safety Management System and Emergency Response Plan (ERP) rival that of the top airlines and are commended by the best Aviation audit companies.

With the introduction by the CAA of new regulations, enormous burden is placed on aircraft operators to keep up with the pace of change. ExecuJet is able to consistently meet the challenge through a fulltime Quality Assurance department to ensure that all aircraft under management meet with the changing regulations.

"When aircraft owners or charter clients place their business with us there is peace of mind in knowing that control of all services is our responsibility" adds Ettore Poggi, Managing Director, ExecuJet South Africa.
