ExecuJet South Africa contributes to success of World Cup Draw
During the recent World Cup 2010 draw, held at a glittering event in Cape Town on 4 December 2009, ExecuJet South Africa provided the lion’s share of the handling of visiting aircraft, including the VIP jet that transported the much coveted trophy to Cape Town

ExecuJet’s FBO teams in Johannesburg and Cape Town assisted visiting crew and passengers during this period making their visit to our shores comfortable and hassle-free. ExecuJet, through the world-class FBOs at Lanseria and Cape Town International airports, provided VIP lounge facilities, ground transportation, fuel, catering and permits and assisted with obtaining hotel accommodation and passage through customs and immigration.

Mark Abbott, ExecuJet Aviation Group FBO Director, based in Cape Town commented: “It was truly a momentous occasion and a once in a life-time privilege to see this magnificent trophy be unveiled and pass through our Cape Town FBO. We must thank the customs and immigration officials and many other officials for the manner in which the arrival of this trophy was handled. It was South Africa at its very best. The World Cup Draw gave ExecuJet a small taste of what is to be expected with regards to the influx of business jets, for the World Cup next year. We proved our worth by showing that we can handle large volumes of business aviation activity, and the recent opening of our new Cape Town facility was just in time for these world events.”

ExecuJet South Africa is renowned for their quality service to operators, crew and passengers alike. ExecuJet South Africa’s FBO teams are experts in their field, and always go the extra mile.  ExecuJet offers full off-base support across Africa, by deploying dedicated FBO teams to airfields where required.

ExecuJet South Africa will be providing a whole range of aviation packages during the 2010 World Cup games to be held in South Africa during June/July next year. The event will be held at various stadiums throughout the country in which ExecuJet plans to offer tailored packages including a full concierge service and the new SimplyFly Membership program.
