The focus was clearly on aircraft management, charter and pre-owned aircraft. More specialized areas such as completion management and the new ownership program SimplyFly also generated considerable interest.
As Paul-Justin Schilling, Executive Director for SimplyFly explained, "We have received significant feedback from Russian clients outlining their needs and wishes which has tailored the SimplyFly program in its origination. The careful tailoring of this program has therefore generated a lot of interest in this new jet ownership program in Russia."
Russia having the strongest market growth in Europe is a very important market for the constantly expanding ExecuJet Aviation Group. Jet Expo successfully generated new client contacts for the company, which included the signing of one account management contract and a charter contract. This will extend the ExecuJet managed fleet to a total of over 130 aircraft managed worldwide. The first day of Jet Expo also saw the opening of the new ExecuJet Moscow office. The opening was a great success with over 60 clients, partners and suppliers attending, providing a unique and exclusive networking opportunity. Guests were impressed by the new facility which is conveniently located in central Moscow, for ExecuJet's existing client base and new potential customers. The Russian media provided great coverage of the opening event. The new office consists of a team of eight staff with a ground space of over 200 sqm in the downtown area of Moscow. A board of directors, consisting of Peter Hartmann, Managing Director of ExecuJet Europe, Marcel Wepfer, Director Aircraft Management Europe and Fabio Hausammann, Finance Director Europe are overseeing the Russian market.
"I am overwhelmed by the interest we have had during the show and for our new office. I am convinced that with our new base we will become the preferred aviation solutions provider also for the Russian market" says Peter Hartmann, Managing Director ExecuJet Europe.
